Nice catch guys. Other than stupidity, do you know the reasons they are placing all the bogus limits on things? There has to be some underlying reason that benefits someone/thing.

Its all about money...

Its hard to tax the small guys, the nmf wants just large corporate comercial industries to take over. More tax revenue, thats it...

Screw the recreational and small commercial guys at the expense of corporate kickbacks and shady back door deals all under the guise of environmentalism. Thank god Johnnie Morris is stepping up his lobiests to fight back. Even though his fight is also over money not the sport...

Pretty much, it's all about the money. Down here it's about NOAA pushing catch shares where you have to BUY the privaage to catch fish that are supposed to be part of a PUBLIC fishery. In other words, making it a private fishery taht teh public cannot access, and if you want any of the fish from said fishery, you have to go to a fish market to purchase them OR pay to go on a for hire charter boat.
