It seems as though the front end lifting on the launch is what makes it so hard to keep from wheel hopping. Is it possible to put limit straps on the front, leave the torsion bars half way up and still get a smooth launch? Or am I wishful thinking?

Since you said shocks....Do the adjustable ranchos allow control on the compression, extension or both together?

So ranchos are good for the rear but almost useless on the front?

So basically I need some qa1's in the front and ranchos in the rear (to cut cost). Controlling the lift on the front with the QA1 itself should cut down on squatting in the rear unless I'm thinking wrong

Limiting straps are a recipe for disaster. I've personally seen several trucks break trying them.

on the drag strip or dirt for pullin? cause ive heard for pullin its a horrible idea and makes your front end bounce worst but ive only heard good things about strapping the front down at the drag strip. id love to know more about this as i planned to take the limit straps i have for my truck and make two different upper mounts. One for normal/off road driving and the other that is tight when the t-bars are dropped at the track.

Cognito makes adjustable bolt on straps, I don't really see how they could come off. I would understand if it were ratchets or something similar. Maybe I'm wrong?
