Thanks! I might go this route. Im going to compare the 2 and which ever is lighter I will go with. And then run the other for the street since they both seem light. :D

It keeps the slick more flat .... more surface area touching the track.

I feel safer running less air with a tube also

A lot of guys screw the tire to the rim so it doesn't pop off the bead of the rim also, i havnt personally done that but have considered it


Also I duct tape over the wieghts to keep them on the rim, I had a set of weights fly off at the track once:(

Another good way to keep weights on is to spread a thin coat of clear silicone around the edges of the weights. It seals them in place. Been doing this on my cars for years & never lost a weight. It is almost invisible as well.
