I have both:D

You suck!

LOL I will get one lifted someday, but for me, I can't afford both. So it's all about function and hp right now. After I get that, I can do cosmetic stuff. I hate the look great but go slow, it's like what's the point. All show and no go. I will have all go and no show, and maybe someday I can have show and go. :D I like truck pulling, and you're not allowed to run anything bigger than 35's anyway. It would be fun to be able to spin out hard on 37's on the big end though.:joker:

You said it best. I can't comprehend all show and no go

IF you are just here to stir up shit then take it back to DP. One of the fastest DMaxes I've ever seen has 7" of lift.

For starters I'm not here just to stir up shit. There are just somethings that I don't get. Reason I said what I said is just I'd personally
never seen a truck that's lifted haul ass before. And to me a reasonable lift is one thing something that emphasizes function like a 4 or 6" lift with 35s that's put to use but what I don't get is a 10-12" lift all blinged out with 40" tires and 22" wheels and chrome everywhere. That's doesn't see a gravel road much less a trail or the desert or a mud hole

My last lifted truck was a 86 K10 406 small block t400 trans 12'' lift on 44 18.5's with 16'' rims I believe, going down some sick trails and it just started to get narrower and narrower well it got to narrow and I broke both pins on the leaf springs and the front end folded under, not a fun night in the mountains.

You take things on the internet way too seriously. You'll be a lot happier if you just laugh at it. It's threads like this that make people look stupid (just to clarify, I'm not saying you are stupid. I'm saying people get all worked up and say things they normally wouldn't and come off looking like fools). For the record, no one cares what you got in debate in college.

Your probably right, but i do enjoy a good debate, after all im sitting at work and i pretty much dont have much to do.

My main point is he had the nerve to start a thread about me on another site where i would not see it, rather than calling me out where i could say something about it

Hey semperfidoordie, are you one of those guys that likes stacks? If so, WTF? Your pickup truck is NOT a semi...why would you put semi parts on it? Thats just rediculous right? And if you're not...then why arent you bagin on those guys too? Who the hell cares if a guy (or girl for that matter) wants to build an asphault cowboy? Its not your truck, and you don't have to look at it or like it. I myself have a '94 GMC thats big enough to drive right up on the hood of your duramax, does it go off road? that depends on your deffinition of off road...I'll tell you this much, when your stock height truck is burried in a snow drift, I'll just drive right past and laugh at you as you shovel frantically trying to get unstuck. I also have a soon-to-be lowered duramax...bet you're gonna bitch about that too right? Peoples inability to let others have their individuality just baffles me, and it is a BIG problem in this world today. Be carefull what you wish for, cause before long we'll all be driving a prius and it will be illegal to paint it any other color than white.

As far as his "scheme"...what is different from what he is doing and a dealership installing a lift on a new truck and selling it for more? Hmmm? What is different from his hobby and someone buying an old classic junker for a few thousand and restoring it and selling it for a 20 or 30 thousand? You seem to forget that he is putting his labor and time into fixing up these trucks, and everyones time is worth money. The fellas that buy these trucks would most likely spend more in the end-run to have bought them and had all the stuff done by a shop.

You should think before you open and run your mouth.

have a nice day. :baby:
