I'm lifting my '15 2500HD duramax LTZ w/z71 pkg. Can't decide between Zone 5" lift or rough country 7.5". Not compromising w/ BDS 6" bc it's about 1k more than I can spend. New shoes are gonna be 35x12.5 20s. I am not a fan of a bunch of empty fender space either. What I'm looking for is which one gives the best ride, least stress on the truck, and doesn't have that empty space. Any arguments for or against? If anyone has tried either of these lifts, what do you like/not like about it? Thanks

Just a 2 yr degree here my friend...it depends on who you talk to on the warranty. Here's what I've been told: If the lift causes the damage that warrants the warranty work, it won't be covered. If it's something completely unrelated then it should be ok.

Now as for exhaust, deletes, programmers, etc. definitely HELLLL YESSS it will in fact void any and all warranties.

Fyi here's what I decided today...it ended up being between Zone 5" or BDS 6.5"...Went with Zone 5" because I felt with a 6.5", I'd need at least 37s to fill up wheel wells. I also think keeping 35s on a 5" will ride slightly better. I heard zone is a sister company or branch of bds, looks like a similar warranty.

Other stuff
35x12.5 20 toyo open country m/t
20x9 Fuel D515 Pump Realtree camo wheels

Will post pics when it's done.

Well 2 months later it's finally finished. Had some problems with the original company I was going to use for the wheels and tires. Here's what she's got:

2015 Chevy 2500HD
Zone 5" Suspension Lift
20x10 Fuel Krank D-517 wheels w/ custom camo hydro dipping
Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x20
-44 offset

More mods to come!

Thanks BIg Block 88...It turned out just how I wanted it. Seems to be pretty solid and still has a smooth ride. Diesel bill is definitely gonna go up lol. The wheels may not be everyone's cup of tea but I love the hell out of em. In the 5 hours that I've had it today, several folks have asked about the wheels in particular. To each his own I reckon

That's cool, but it would drive me nuts. I kept thinking your wheels are dirty.

Sent from my iPhone digging a ditch near you.
