Lift suggestions

Hey guys I have a 07 classic crew cab 2500HD LBZ and I am looking at lifting it. I'm looking at a 7.5 in lift with 37x12.5R17 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ. Any suggestions on what brand of lift or any advice on things I need to do while having the lift done? She's pretty much stock right now other than an edge programmer a K&N air filter setup and leveling kit with 33s. Also could I fit 37s with a 6 in lift instead of the 7.5? My 33s scrub at full turn now. How much would an egr delete and a EFI live run me?
Any advice is appreciated guys

I'm guessing you meant 37's? 27's seem like they might be a little small for a 7.5in lift

I'm on 37's with my 6" and no rubs. It's all about choosing the right wheel. 0 offset will help with no rubbing. My cv has a slight angle. Another big part is fiberglass front fenders, it opens up the wheel well space by probably 15% more. Downside is that your rear tires will rub the bed sides whenever you're flexing it or towing heavy loads. Mine is pulled 2" out but still rubs. I'm going for fiberglass bed sides soon.

What offset and backspace are you running?

If you want run 37" tires with no cutting or rubbing. I would do the Cognito 10-12".

The angles on your CV's will also stay flat and it rides really nice.

Here is a picture of my setup on a 2007 RC.

I plan on doing a 12" once it is payed off and not my daily. My wife doesn't want it that high right now because we drive my truck everywhere we go 99.5% of the time

Sorry guys been getting ready for vacation and then gone on vacation. She rides better than she did with the 33s and RC leveling kit.

I had a set of MTZ and loved them that's why I went back with these after the POS nittos wore out that came on it. How do they hold up on the heavier truck?
