I just put mine back down to stock

Here is the piece I had to get welded back on. I had thrown mine out, but the guy 2 houses down had all his stuff in the shed and gave it to me!!:thumb:

So your sayin it was a drop bracket? And the ears that stop the upper control arms from dropping to far Was removed along with the bracket that held the bump stop and stop the travel upwards of the lower control arm? I have put many lifts on but never switched it back. Its possible I suppose. Not sure where u could find the parts to weld them back on the frame? seems like way more work then needed. I would buy a 4in and keep it at lowest setting. 2.5 to 3in and run a smaller tire.

As long as it was cut off nicely and wasn't to much material missing then it should work. Getting everything back to original spec is goin to be the hard part.

crazycrew- thats what i need!!!

yes my bump stops are removed on the uca's. my top ear is still intact. its the lower portion that was cut off teh frame. i was thinking about laying a plate across the frame and build my own.

I would search around the salvage yards near you man. I had found one for $75 then I thought about my neighbor, and sure enough, he had what I needed. Free too!!:thumb:

I removed my lift about siux months ago and you can get everything you need just takes a little searching. You will need factory rear U bolts, Factory spindles, The Cognito differential ear bracket, and the crossmember bracket that gets cut off the frame (shown in pic). There is more to that bracket other then what is shown in the pic thoe, there is a small crossmember that mounts to it and runs directly under the diff.

I got everything from NorCal trucks, they had everything in the shop from trucks they had put lift kits on so if i were you that would be my first call.

And Josh i still have the lift i took off my truck if your looking to buy one used :D
