Lift pump

I need some help picking out the right lift pump for my truck. Tranny and engine are stock except for my bully dog tuner. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd recommend the Kennedy Diesel pump. Quiet and reliable. Add your own filterhead/filter.

It depends on your setup. More fuel per hour. The truck will run better, but it lightens the workload on the CP3 by providing positive fuel pressure

Not necessarily. More GPH. No.

Start doing searches for your questions, too. There is a lot of info here, you just have to start reading. Then, if you still dont understand, then ask questions.

I ran a ppe pump for 4 years full time.... Did it's job but was a bit noisy. Rated at 165 with no filtration and no install kit. I run an air dog 2
165 now. Been about 6 months no issues yet. If I wouldn't of got such a smoking deal on this I would of bought a Fuelab pump. Those are beautiful

The Fuelab looks nice, to bad the install kit doesn't come with it.

Install kits are for amateurs!
I hardly ever use the stuff that comes with them except the wiring harness if it has good connectors on it.
But if that's what you are into I'd go with a FASS or Airdog 150.

There is a guy on FB selling a used AD165 pump with a brand new everything else for $400. He just swapped out to a bigger AD200 so the rest of it is new. Good deal.

Amazon has the AirdogII for $650. That ain't bad! Prob buying one next month, my LB7 (injectors have been replaced) can't keep up fuel wise with my 100hp tune. Everything less than that usually does fine but I wanna go fast! Lol :thumb:
