I know everyone is building stuff quieter but I want to be able to hear mine and tell that it is on. Who builds a reliable but loud pump? I have a pressure gauge on it but I just want to be able to hear it.

PPE is the same as Edelbrock 1791/1792 series right??? I had one first, HOLY HELL it was loud!

mechanically it is the same as the 1792 but the seals are replaced to work with Diesel Fuel. It is loud but I want to know its working... I have had mine going on 3 years and have not had a single problem with mine

I'm straight piped also and can't hear the 1792/PPE lift pump. But, Dale sitting in the back seat said he could .

Mine has also been in my truck for almost 3 years without a problem.

I had a Fass 150 and was very happy with it . I could hear it enough to tell it was on but it was not anoying . after saying that................................ the MITUSA i am running now is mechanical( belt driven) so i never even have to worry about it , nor do i even notice it being there .

I have crap tts pumps that have been on for a little over a year, and only ran about six months of that year. When I got my motor back I was having problems getting it to hold rail pressure, seemed as though I was getting all the fuel I could. So I ordered a fuel pressure gauge and fitting from Burkhard about the same time I ordered a dual cp3 from Chad. Got both on about the same time and when I would go wide open pressure would drop to zero. I just want to be able to hear it without looking at a gauge or climbing under the truck. The tts pumps hold about 6psi at idle but when I give it 1/4 throttle or more it drops to zero. I plan on only running it at the track so it won't be on all the time, building a bypass for whatever I get anyway so it doesn't have to be flowthrough. How much is the mitusa? And will it work with dual cp3's?
