Does it sound like the electric motor is going out to you guys? 4 years on the pump runs all the time. Just started doing this?

I wouldn't worry. My pump makes all sorts of noises and it's still kicking....I run mine full time also and it's been onthere for a bit over a year....but last time My batteries were on their way out, the pump stopped working. As soon as I put new batteries it ran normal again

My Cummins is knocking like hell, but it still runs, something is wrong with the PPE pumps, if they all sound like that.

No doubt... still makes pressure though..... cheaper to run it than dump it for a different $500 pump if its still working

I put a valve in the bypass hose when I did my install. I would do this for any positive displacement lift pump installation on a DD rig. If the pump fails, just open the valve and you can keep driving with a smaller tune.

FWIW, my PPE is still kicking after 3 years of cold winters.
