So like most here, I want to get more power out of my truck. I am figuring out exactly what to order for when I do get back, but I have a few questions about lift pumps. First off, I was looking at the FASS models, and I'm quite sure I want to get the 95 gph model for what I want to do with it. That being some decent EFI live tuning and a DSP switch, along with a suncoast trans kit. It should be plenty, right? The other thing, how do I determine my need for the FASS filter kit with it? Is it a less restrictive in-line replacement for my factory fuel filter? Or is it a filter built in to help save the FASS system from crap in my lines? There is a few hundred $$$ difference so I want to be sure of what I need. Thanks in advance.

Get the 150 kit.. Idk much about the 95 kit but I do know once you go as far with your truck as u want then you always wana go farther with it.. The filters on the on a water and air separator.. IMO they are a great purchase and amust have for big power. I have the air dog 150. The only reason I didn't get the fass was bc of size... Maybe some other guys on here will chime in..

Maybe we are talking about different filters? From what I understand, the FASS systems purpose is to filter air/water, it also functions as a lift pump in its flow rate though. I see on the site there are 2 different versions of the 95(unfortunately the graphic is the same for both) and one is the kit+filters and is like, $200 or so more. I was thinking the kit comes with the air/water filter, but this was something in addition to that. I could be wrong , wouldn't be the first time.

yes fass and air dog both come with air/water seperators.. i was saying get the 150gph model.. that is prolly the difference in what you are seeing. there is prolly a 200$ diff between the 95gph and the 150gph.

Yep, think I answered the filter question after looking at a few more websites. Merchant Automotive has real pics of the product. Would I be breaking 400hp with a good tune, assuming the trans is built to take it? If so, I really should go with the 150......

So starting to veer off topic, what will the Suncoast kit with the valvebody, clutches, and TQ take, realistically? Over 400? I guess the more I figure out, the more I think that I need to take everything a step further to get where I want overall.

My stage 4 I think is good for 800hp.. But I really don't remember.. The only reason I recommend the air dog is bc of size an where they place it on the frame

Suncoast site says the stage III is rated @500hp, and that's what I was looking at. Conservative? Overestimate? Now I'm thinking I need to get the stage IV, just in case.......

I was like you but after talking to my builder and some others the extra $500 is worth it for the Stage IV. Then I don't have to worry about it. Same with the lift pump.
For what it's worth, I heard the AD II is going to get a price increase soon.
