to where, like 10psi or 6psi, lol. he is hitting 6psi

Might have been around that I was surprised when I saw it. I know that the TTS ones only give like 6 psi max iirc. plus aslong as there is some psi I think it still should help since there is none without a lift pump

Thats why i dont have a bypass! I just carry a few parts to do a bypass if the pump fails. The check valve he used is for water line so maybe the rubber is eatn away???????????? He does use Diesel additive and that $hit is pretty potent.

haha same here, just a peice of hose and a screw driver:rofl:

I agree. My thinking is, as long as you are keeping positive pressure to the CP3 you are getting all you can from your lift pump.

My lift pumps keep 4.5-5 psi post filter at WOT with a big tune.

exactly. your cp3 can only flow so much. as long as it has more fuel than it needs it should be a happy camper.

Hose is alot cheaper than 12 fitting and a check valve! I also dont like havin to look at a big glob of stuff that could leak or wonder if the check vakve is even working. D-maxes have enough moving parts that could fail as it is.....why add to it!

If you do it right it wont leak, but I understand where you are coming from. When you have a pump fail and almost leave you and your younger brother stranded at 10:30 at night youll rethink a bypass :D.

Yup do it right and it won't leak, goes for many things other than lift pumps;)

My PPE flows through pretty well, better than I thought it would. I can drive with it off no codes and pretty good power and rail psi still.

twin lift pumps and run 'em all into a 4 port... If one ever goes bad you'll be able to run off the other! Spose you could even put the 2nd pump on a switch:joker:

First question I would ask is what is he running as described 'big tune'? There are times that you can run outside the injector pulse and get this type of reaction.

I've seen trucks actually buck when you really run outside the injector pulse.

Food for thought

You and your pal wanna get anymore shots in? Might as well just make a new thread to do it in instead of throwing comments in everywhere.
