What all pumps can you not here while the engine is running. I don't want one to sound like my old Z71 with the well known whine stock. I want a good weather pump with built in bypass and I'll have the DIY filter afterwards too along with a billet pickup in tank. Thank's,Adam

Guess I'm getting a TTS dual pump setup then. I know I know. I'd rather pay less for the same thing than a couple hundred more for something dressed up a little fancier. Not to hijack the thread.

Let me suggest the Fass 150/95 :D, been running it for nearly 3 years and cant hear it over my exhaust or stereo :D

Can you repeat that please? I cant hear you over your truck:D

I run twin KDs and a raycor water seperator,I also tied the factory WIF sensor to the raycor filter

On my 01 I run the fass 150

Here's a pic of my setup, that Reno was speaking of. If you get the PPE, I've got four kit's made up if interested! All fittings are compression style and no flaring tool needed (just a $5.00 tube cutter).

nice work!
Did you use benders or do it by hand?
and the check valve, how much pressure is needed to open it? and is it a full port valve?

Thanks
My goal here is additional filtration. The lift pumps primary purpose (for me) is to help over come the added restriction from the additional filter(s)and help the fuel rail pressure at the top end:eek:. Priming of the fuel system and bypass are also things i'm looking for. In a perfect world...I also wouldn't have to drop the tank/drive shaft or cut any lines/wires.

Been running the AIRDOG-150 for the past few months and am very impressed thus far. I can not hear it running once the truck has started and its a complet kit so there is no guess work. A couple of people were having problems with a fitting missing but mine had 4 to many. The quality control has gotten better since I am told.

They supposedly gave me all the fittings, apparently i wasnt supposed to use a 90 on the top of my draw straw and just bend the hose, but theres like 1.5 inches of clearance for the hose to bend, and its a 1/5i.d. hose so i had to use a 90 for it.

But they're sending me another one in the mail for me:hug:

I heard there was a problem with their fittings or something like that? Any truth to this?

We got the wrong destructions with ours but we got the right ones off the net. Other than that, everything was there. Killa's raptor was fine and it evidently works if he's running 12.6 on a stock charger ;).

very nice tubing!! is it 12mm or 1/2" outer diameter of the tubes? (especially the oem tube of the truck). Sorry for the dumb question but I dont have the truck with me but would like to check if parts are available here in Germany.

Thank's guys. I guess bye bye tts and if the is others that are quiet or as quiet, I'll get one. So the Airdog's and maybe Raptors are almost as quiet as the TTS/Kennedy ones but flow more? Adam

can someone do a schematic or a diagram of hoses? I put mine is but I only ran the IN and OUT lines and I see there is (in the pics) a bypass to the pump. Hows that work or the main question is... how is the bypass part suppose to work..also if I only ran the IN and OUT off the pump am I alright?

Yeah, like $3 or $4...;)

I decided to go the bypass method and use a boost activated (Hobbs) switch to activate the pump so I wouldn't hear it at idle (I've become a little sensitive as I've gotten older)...Also, if the FASS 150 ever failed, I would never have to pull over and get the tools out...

David, you'll be fine with the way you installed it...
