Lift pump advice

I have the fuelab Velocity 200, its a great setup and supposed to be flow through but my truck will not run with it cut off.

Anyone have experience with the fass 1002 draw straw or any drawstraws? Wondering how they work

Is the auxillary/secondary filter really necessary, in my case running Kennedys twin pump

+1 on the Kennedy. You have to either feel the pump or crack the bleeder on the filter head to even know it is running..

I dunno, the sound of the AD2 when the ignition comes on kinda lets me know I'm driving something just a little more serious than the average rig, puts me in the mindset to be behind the wheel of this beast

besides that, I never hear or notice it once the pistons are moving

That's a pain in the ass how will you ever know its not working until its too late. Like Jason, I also prefer to hear mine with the key on until I start it then I don't hear mine at all.
