Thanks James. Yeah mine is electronic, but I wish it was manual. I plan on doing a lot of mudding and offroading with it, but the only time I'll be going fast in 4 hi will be the mudding.

Just went on cognito Motorsports page, and they don't show a 7-9" lift for my truck anymore.
With that size lift james do you bumper tow or still 5th wheel your trailer? Also with your lift do you still run torsion bars or can you squeeze a coil over in? One last thing is, im looking at the cognito 4-6” lift with 35’s but im thinking the 7-9” would be better offroad for the ground clearance ( i would keep it as low as possible with the 7-9”) i have alot of questions on this ill shoot you a pm tonight
I'd like to run a 37-39 depending on clearance with the lift.Hey Philv, how big of tire will you be running? do you tow much?
How much was it for coilovers if you don't mind me asking? I don't like the look of the torsion bars visible, but I want a lift.loli tow both bumper and 5th wheel, either can be loaded pretty heavy. use to run torsions but i put coilovers on about 4 years ago. unless you need the break over angle, id run the 4-6" lift, get a wheel with the best off set to keep the tire out of the fender the best you can and do some front fender clearance to make 35s clear at the 4" height. while you do the lift, cycle the suspension to full bump and turn the wheel, that will tell you what needs the most clearance. easier to do when the torsion bar is already out. with 37s, you will definitely have to cut the bottom rocker and angle it back, 35s might squeek in with the right off set and trimming the pinch weld.

mountain driving on 37's with 373 gears and a 5 spd sucks balls...towing does too, just not as bad on flat ground. Im not sure the make them for older trucks, but congnito makes a non torsion bar drop kit for newer trucks.

35x12.50 will fit a 4” Cognito with fender mod, or 6” without if you use a 9” wheel with 5.0-5.5” back space.
With the performance mods I plan on doing, that should compensate for the power loss of the lift and tire size. I'm hoping.lolIt’s my own setup. Each lift will be different as they are not all the same in how they lift the truck. Cognito does make a non torsion bar drop kit though
Won’t be too bad for him out here. Under 10k won’t kill him too bad, just instantly drop to 4th gear on big hills like black canyon and verde.
Sometimes I wish I had a gear between 5th and 4th with these 4.56 and 37s. On 3.73, 4th is perfect for the power I’m at. Give and take I guess
