LML Lift install opinions on cost

Hi all, I have a 16 ‘rado 2500 4x4
Been interested in getting it lifted with a b d s 6.5. Initiatal quote for just the lift was 7 hours. Once I figured out I wanted to add on these parts the estimate jumped to about 18 hours. Is this right with the front end torn down already for the lift? I was trying to work in these extra parts because of being nearly torn down up front with some leverage for price saving on labor. Seems like they just threw the book hours for each part individually without consideration of the lift install.

Seems like they just threw the book hours for each part individually without consideration of the lift install.

That's probably exactly what happened, but isn't that what a shop normally does? Maybe try to negotiate with them?

The upper control arms and steering parts are going to add a little bit a labor. From 7 hours to 18 seems a little much though. I would have thought maybe 10 or 11 hours total.

Thanks VEfreak and blackmax, that’s what I thought as well just wanted to hear from others.
Will try to negotiate tomorrow. The worst is I walk away with cash still in my pocket.
