LF: Build advice for my 03 LB7 ZF6

I purchased my 2003 regular cab long box LB7 Duramax six speed manual a little over a year ago now and I am looking at doing my injectors so I figure why not go all out and build it up. So it's got 400k I'm on it and the injectors are a couple years old I believe but I wanted to future proof as best I could the next set so the plan is to put in a Fass 95 w/ dual filters, fuel bowl delete, stock injectors and shoot for 500rwhp. I got the pump on the way. I was just wondering at what point do you look at doing head studs. Also what other mods should be done for this power level?

Oh? The truck is said to have a south bend dual disc clutch in it but I've never heard anything about the flywheel.

If it has a dual disc than your fine. It will come with a new flywheel when the dual disc was installed

I'm not sure how good the clutch is. Sometimes I swear it slips some days.

No, there's not. As Josh said, the guy hasnt been on here in 5 years. I suggest searching car sale websites like Cargurus or Autotrader to see if you can find one.

Sorry for not have a technical question, I saw the truck and joined the forum to see if I could reach out to the guy about it, and have wanted that exact spec truck, fell in love with them after my dad bought his 2001 gmc cclb lb7 zf6 and my dad also had a buddy with a similar single cab just not a zf6, I currently have a 2004 eclb lb7 so hoping to ask and search for more solutions and questions when I start building the truck Sorry again im still learning im 17

Your in for a long search for a manual truck. There wasn't that many made, because the Allison was so good. Might have better luck build one.

Your in for a long search for a manual truck. There wasn't that many made, because the Allison was so good. Might have better luck build one.

Ive pondured the idea of buying a sclb lb7, zf6 swapping it and painting it the color code but for one its just not the same as factory and 2 even finding a good zf6 trans and parts for it are getting hard to find, also thought about zf6 swapping my extended cab but it wont really work for the build im going for on the truck
