I run 305/50R20 tires on my truck, but I only have a 9.5" wide wheel. I think a 12" wide wheel will be too wide for that tire. Most of the tire manufacturers that I saw list that size tire to work with an 8.5" to 11" wide wheel. I saw one only recommended up to a 10.5" wide wheel.

They are just stock right now. But I'm going to get DA QA1's very soon. By slammed I mean that the torsion bars are as low as they can possibly go. To get the truck any lower, I'll have to get a drop kit.

im wondering how bad they will rub if i use the cognito leveling kit

the main thing the cognito kit allows is for a better ride and longer lasting ball joints. it doesnt net you more lift. If you crank it more than your suppose to (cause it looks like you can), you will break stuff and i dont care what kind of steering/cv setup you have. at that point you have too much leverage on everything.

basically, the cognito kit allows you to LEVEL the truck and keep close to factory ride. its not designed for you to crank it beyond that.

Sorry I was on tapatalk. Couldn't really see what your truck was. So yea... Just raise the bumper up and throw away that stupid plastic strip. And your tires should fit. Mine fit just fine. My valance is trimmed a little. I trimmed it back when I had 35's on a stock truck lol.

Bringing back an old thread here, but does anyone know an around about measurement on the adjuster bolt to get torsion bars close to stock? Anyone out there still have a truck that hasn't been adjusted? Mines been up down and out. Just looking to get it close to factory now.

Lower the front end till the lower control arm just touches the yellow bumpstop and make sure both sides are even. Should put you damn near stock height

I guess I'll be telling my alignment guy good luck. The bump stops have been gone since I've owned the truck. Seems like every truck I've seen the bump stop rot away
