Hey, father in law wants more HP for his diesel pusher. Cat 3126E/330hp. Its a 2003 7.8 or 8.0 liter. Who the heck sells programers for motorhomes? I did some light googling with not many results. Anyone know a link or to for Cat programers and motorhomes?

Wow, Pittsburg power is pricy. Tuning a Cat seems more expensive than a $300-500 programer for a Dmax? The edge one looks promising at 40hp and 120 tq with mpg gains.

Under The Hood
The Pittsburgh power mopdule is 100% worth the money. Those guys know what they are doing.

We have one on the short trip semi at work. Its a 07 T800 KW with a 550hp C15 CAT and an 18spd. The 550hp apparently wasnt enough so on went the Pittsburgh power module.

Ive only ridden in it a few times but all I Can say is wow. We had it loaded down and went to climb the bluffs and bumped it to level 5 and it shot up the hill with 62psi of boost and just as we reacdhed the top it hit 1,000* EGT. Very little smoke the whole time, actually none.

Then for shits and giggles he bumped it to level 7 as we left unloaded and It didnt look like he could shift fast enough.

Normal driving is done on level 3.

It is a great module and I would reccomend it to anybody.

The Ts Performance MP-8 is good too and much cheaper and easier to install, but doesnt give you near the results of the Pittsburgh power module

Thanks for the vote on the TS. At several thousand for the Pits one, dam. I'm pretty sure the father inlaw won't shell out that kind of money.
Pitsburg, TS, and Edge are the only three I have found.
