Funny story Josh. They are actually taking my M107s away from me. Really pisses me off after all we went through to get the ammo.
Damn, that sucks. Are they replacing them with something else or just sending them elsewhere? We had a couple of the M82A1s where I was stationed, but they never even left the armory except to go to CATMs for inspections and whatnot.
We get to zero and shoot a few times a year. We actually ask other people to shoot because it's murder after 100 or so rounds.
I got rid of some of the last M82A1s in '05 when I left the school house.
We are just losing them. Part of that new idea fairy crap. With all of our units basically being co-located some genius decided we don't need them any longer.

Man, I never got to ride one of those. I've only seen them. 3cyl 750 oil burner? Gotta be a wild ride.
No but it gets closer every year, I can still drive it around and play with it on the street which is what I like to do the most
I just don't like to drive it to the drag strip (3 hrs away) when something could break and have me stuck there. Also the car runs only on E85 and will not run on regular pump gas so trying to find E85 every time I get out of my town becomes a PITA.
Now you can put a auxiliary tank in the truck with e85! I was thinking about running the race truck on e85 and doing this to the dmax, plus i have alot of friends that run it and want extra when going to the track. Where do you live? and how diluted is your winter blend? luckily here in Houston we only change for a short period of time to a "fall" blend
I was honestly thinking about buying an auxiliary tank haha b/c I like to run the fuel level pretty low in the car to keep the weight down. As far as blends here in Lincoln, Ne they do lower the ethanol content significantly in the winter down to around E70 which my car would be pretty unhappy to run on ha.
However I don't run the car in the winter but when I do I test the ethanol content pretty regularly and it is almost always above E85 and as high as 95% during the summer. I am moving down to Salina, KS in a few weeks so I will have to re tune the car come spring time but with the new parts going on it that was going to have to happen anyways.
