heads up, check the crown width of the rod at the wrist pin I think its supposed to .875+/-? Some , for whatever reason, get shipped out .935+? Subsequently the rod won't fit in the piston.

In other words, before the wrist pin hole lines up with the pistons side... the rod hits the piston or has to little tolerance and with expansion could hit/rub it after heating up.

I bought them off of guy when he had the sale going on and thanks for the heads up on the clearances! I cant wait to get started on this I'm just waiting for my engine stand to get delivered

RNolan.... whats the specs on the truck/motor? You blow it up or just rebuilding before it goes pop?

sikdmax...the trucks still running good I just figured I better get started on something before it goes boom. I picked up a complete donor engine locally that I'm using for the build.
So far the plans are getting the pistons cut and coated, cam, stg. 2 heads, I'm thinking about going with twins using a 4094 for the little guy I'm not sure about the big one yet.
I still have a lot of reading and phone calls to make before I make up my mind

Some good lookin rods you got there! I found they were slightly heavier than the stockers. I had Guy have the rotating assembly balanced.
