I could measure mine, the shifter is out of it. It would be tomorrow
That would be awesome. Thanks. Even if you want to just snap a pic that'll work too.

Transmission showed up today too. Also just ordered my shift lever, insulator and boot.
Now if only my Ferd would sell I could order the clutch

Zf trucks all have 1480 u joints so there might be a small hiccup there no biggy though and I thing the tranny cross members are the same allison to zf

I believe the zf uses a cross member that doesn't have a riser block like the Allison. I may be wrong but I think I remember seeing it somewhere.

More parts for the swap. I am a clutch and hydraulics away from having everything. Ready to unload my Powerstroke for pennies on the dollar because I am itching to order my clutch and my play money is gone!

U cut that yet I totally forgot to measure where the hole is. I can do it tomorrow lol

This is correct. Just did a Southbend in one in the past few weeks and noticed that.
Have not cut it yet. Taken me longer to bed line and fatmat my interior than I was expecting with this cool weather we've had. You don't really need to bother though. I wasn't expecting to have these parts till the interior was reassembled, since it's not I can just lay the boot over the raised part and see where to cut.

Don't tell me a need to source a zf crossmember. That'll be like finding a gold plated unicorn. Does the spacer come out of the Alison member? Can it be cut?

finally ordering a clutch tomorrow! Yay :D Hopefully I'll have everything and I can take a day "off" from work next week to throw my truck on a lift and do the swap. Only tie up I foresee is making cruise control work. I tried to set it coasting with tranny in neutral and it wouldn't let me set rpm. Didn't figure it would. Not sure what I'll do there yet.

Wonder how big of a deal it would be to re-pin the ecm connector(s) to be that of a zf6 truck then flash in a zf operating system

Well clutch is on the way. As is the pedal to push rod bushing. All of it is scheduled to be here by Wednesday. Provided it all shows up I'll be completing the swap Saturday morning. I am just going to leave it in park and tie the nsbu up out of the way initially. But my plan is to eventually make my own zf wiring harness and repinning the ecm to function without a tcm and with a cpp switch and backup lights.

After that and reflashing the ecm with a zf o.s. I would think I'll have a cpp, backup lights and cruise.

One step closer
Highly recommend removing the dash to install that stupid pedal assembly. I didn't. That was a pain in the ass

Bump for the zf o.s.

Got the swap done! Truck runs great. I need to take some sensitivity out of the throttle. It is super touchy. Still working the air out of the clutch so I can't shift it very fast. But it'll hold my 2400us tune with ease in 5th and 6th. Time to ramp up the power now.

Cross members are different. The Allison one will work but it really shoves the zf into the tunnel and the shifter hits the dash in 4th and 6th. I dropped it about 1/2" with spacers between cross member and frame. Helped a lot but I need another 1/2". Going to try and source a zf member but it doesn't look like a big deal to modify the Allison one.
That was the biggest tie up. Whole swap took about 8 hours. Took me longer to pull the Allison than anything. First one I've done. Those converter bolts are a bitch.
