Question: Leaking power steering hose fix

I have a power steering hose leaking on my 02' pulling truck and after doing some research find it to be a common problem with the 01-10 Gm trucks. I found this high pressure hose replacement kit from Driven Diesel and was wondering if anyone had used it and thought it was worth the price tag? Fiqured with the Rpm's my truck will be at pulling I should probably upgrade them.

Mine are starting to leak as well. Had a friend replace one of his lines from the reservoir to the rack with a GM replacement with good luck so far. I see DHD has a set of lines as, but driven is half the price. If you do end up going with the set from driven I would be curious to know how the install goes as far as the bends being correct.

Well, I ordered up the kit from Strictly diesel today. I will give a review of it after the install.:thumb:

Take the old steel lines to your local hydraulic shop and save about $200.00, you can do the same with the transmission lines....

Update: kit is very nice quality, fit great and well detailed instruction's come with it.:thumb:

How long did it take to get your kit? Been a little longer than I like waiting for mine from them..

Supposedly they have been shipped, but don't be in a hurry for them if anyone orders these. Ordered Aug 19th and I still don't have them

I ordered my kit earlier today and got an email shortly after lunch with a UPS tracking number.

Never ordered from Strictly Diesel (drove and picked up parts), about a minute from me by bicycle) and have been to their shop several times and talked with Gary the service writer and they are a busy shop, Harbin 22 call and find out why they have not shipped.....

Was thinking of getting there kit, but ended up just getting acdelco ones off of rock Auto. Maybe next time. Lol
