Well i finally got my truck running and now im having issues with the trans, all that i did was swap my c1's and converter. now its leaking a steady stream out of the inspection hole. i couldnt really see where the fluid is coming from. i pulled the trans installed a new converter seal, new pump seal, and resealed all the pump bolts. i checked to make sure that the pump seal wasnt sloppy on the converter, it seemed ok. i know the trans has to come back out but i really dont know what else it could be, the leak without a doubt is coming from inside the bellhousing?

the converter is a DPC btw.

any ideas??

Well it was the converter, a weld cracked. Normally I would have been pretty upset about it but Phil at DPC was doing everything possible to help me out, he was even going to rush me another converter. I know these things happen but it wasnt a big deal to me because of the way Phil stood behind his product and was willing to do whatever it took to make it right.

If it was leak checked it would have been caught. Same problem with Precision Industries. That's why I no longer use them. Seems when they get popular and all the big orders come in, quality goes down.

it was a stitch weld that somehow had cracked? either way Phil's customer service made up for a small leak that i fixed in 5 min.
