2001 LB7 basically stock 120K Edge controller which I run at "1" for fuel economy.
no major problems since purchase used in 2004 w 40K

I drove it a few miles to store and back and when I came out a hour later a significant amount of oil or fuel (don't know which) had leaked out, at least a couple of quarts if not more.
I had it towed home and did a preliminary inspection of the truck.
It appears that the oil level is overfull, when I put the dipstick in I can stop a inch or so from bottoming it and it still reads full.

the leak appears to come from behind the balancer. prior to this I have never noticed any leaks whatsoever with the exception of condensate from the AC.

About 3 months ago my girlfriend tried to drive over a Pontiac she T boned
insurance replaced the passenger side fender and front clip, also some Pass side front end components and the steering box. no motor damage was listed and the truck ran fine when it was returned from the shop. Any help with diagnosing the issue will be most appreciated.

Is it worth repairing on a 15 year old truck?
I like my truck, its never really let me down before, but I would hate for this to be the beginning of a lot of expensive repairs. I have had the fluids changed regularly, the front end alignments, I don't drive it hard unless pulling a 30 ft toyhauler for a week or so a year is hard.... I have been driving it daily for the last few months but I don't abuse it.

Honestly an lb7 with 120k is far from having multiple problems.put a set of quality bosch injectors in it and go another 120k

Yup sounds like injectors are filling the crankcase and it's pushing the fuel oil mix out of the breather.

Did you take it to a gm dealer?
