No 6 piston cracked can I get it out by lower oil pan removal or have to remove upper as well ? If upper has to come does the tranny have to come loose and side back to get bolts that come from flywheel side ??

You will regret trying to half ass it when you go back together and the upper oil pan leaks. Pull the engine out and put it on a stand and be done with it. That way when you get the piston out and see the big gouge in the cylinder its already out to take to the machine shop.
You have to pull the motor to take the upper oil pan off anyway. How will you get to the oil pan bolts behind the front and rear covers? 
The bolts go through the covers they aren't behind them. But regardless engine still needs to come out
