What is the exact reason that the throttle response is souch more responsive than that of an ply. Is it strictly turbo related or is it maybe a cp3 characteristic. ?

There is a large diff in the injectors?? I would think the ECM is a big factor can u make a lbz ECM work with an ply engine?

what does a throttle spring have to do with responsiveness.

I thought maybe he was pushing down on the peddle farther and didn't realize it. It was on a different thread, but people were putting another spring on the throttle to help give the throttle more resistance and a better "feel."

I thought it was som kinda new bastard motors like th LBY, or LMZ.:D

As for the spring comment I was thinkin tht was for the LLY and older D-Maxes to make the pedal feel more like the LBZ. My LBZ is stiffer than my LB7 pedal.

hey I actually do have an LBY! :p:

So what impedes someone from using a lbz ECM on an lly is it strictly physical differences such as wire harnesses or is it much more than that

You have the FICM on a LB7 and LLY that you don't have on the LBZ motor. You would need to do a complete change of the computers and harnesses along with the injectors too I think to take advantage to any computer differences. I don't think the cost would be that beneficial for the gain.
