Okay so i swapped a LBZ engine, tranny, complete interior into my racetruck, with complete engine and interior wiring harness. Everything seems to work good except none of my door switches work, locks/windows/heated seats, nothing works. I fired the truck up a couple times, runs good, and once did the doorlocks work and the window motors made some noice when i hit the switches but the windows didn't go down. I did not swap window motors but they are the same as far as i could find out online.

The LBZ wiring is out of a crewcab and the racetruck is extended cab, so i don't have the rear door plugs plugged in, now that shouldn't affect it right?

I'm lost, i don't really care about doorlocks or mirrors or heated seats for that matter, but i want to be able to roll my windows down

Oh and another thing, both my signal light indicators in the cluster are lit up, they stay green until i signal and they will indicate signaling but go back to being lit up green when not using them:confused::confused::confused:

I think the rear signal lights are wired differnt on the 03+ chevrolets, this may have something to do with the indicators being on? Maybe a backfeed or something?

Every wire on the truck is out of the 06, tail lights as well.

Also none of the interior dash lights or cluster lights work, only the radio and the little fog light switch, everything else stays dark. Everything was working when I drove the 06:confused:

Didn't make a difference. Also went and plugged the onstar antenna in and no difference, every once in a while the lock/unlock switch will do something, if u click it you hear the relay click but nothing happens, i wonder if for some reason something in the BCM isn't right:confused:

There's a total of 9 ground wires, 4 on driverside and 5 on pass side, they're all grounded under the seat to the cab. I'll get the multimeter out and see if i have power at the doorswitches and go from there

K so i reflashed the truck with a different tune, turned the ignition on after that and all cluster lights, door switches lights etc were working, doorlocks worked, window switches worked but windows didnt roll down, had a fast clicking noise and the dome lights turned on and off fast, same pace as the clicking noise. Then after i turned ignition off and on again it was back to the old "no worky" condition. wtf!!!!!:eek:

window switch clicking fast like the turn signals when a bulb is out?

Could the window switch and turn wires be crossed by the fuse box? and when u hit the window button it clicks it on and off like the turn?

I think you have a bad ground somewhere.

I think you're going to need a Tech 2 to diagnose this further, that way you can see what inputs/outputs on the BCM, DDM, PDM, etc are working and which ones arent working.

windows are triggered up/down via a data message. There is no direct wiring between the window switches on the drivers door and any of the other window motors in the truck.

ooookayyy now figure this one out, first of all my battery was pretty much dead, it didn't wanna fire up. jumpstarted the truck, had it running for about an hour charging it haha. Second thing... if i plug my flashscan into the obd2 port i can roll down my windows, use the power doorlocks etc, window "triggers" still, but does roll up and down very very slow until you help it then it will roll down fast. Then when i unplug the flashscan all interior lights turn off again and windows/locks don't work. What a frekin nightmare. On the good side the truck runs great hahaha:happy2:

Found the problem. OBD2 Pin#4 chassis ground wasn't grounded. Not sure where it runs to but ill ground it myself so I won't have problems with it again.

Thanks all for the help!
