See signature for mods (Putting out about 60 psi max from turbos, and usually 45-50 in level 3 tune). Haven't beaten the truck too badly, and I have done very little towing. I had a major failure while accelerating around 75 mph, but I think this may have started a year ago when I put on a snow water methanol system. I started getting a slight vibration that we just couldn't find the cause for. Bummer. Really scared of spending $7700 on a new long block and getting the same result, but don't have the money right now to slap down $15,000++ on a SoCal rebuild. I will probably drop the Snow system when I install another engine, but are there any other options out there that may give some more longevity without totally breaking the bank? All assistance is appreciated!!

So to hear about your luck! I'd install a junkyard engine. Cranks breaking is completely luck of the draw, i just read a thread on here about a stock LML breaking the crank and Dmitri just put down 1800 hp on a bottom end that was stock other than rods.....

Thanks Busted. I'm looking around now. ONe company claims to have a 2007 LBZ with only 19000 miles, but I am way skeptical. More likely it had 119,000! LOL.

Sounds horrible... Sorry for the loss as well... Like Busted said it seems to be a luck of the draw and when it happens it sucks

I feel like you shouldn't need the snow kit with the triples anyways. EGTs shouldn't be an issue with that much air. The added cylinder pressure won't do a stock motor any favors either!

I had pretty high EGTs despite 50-60 psi on top. It was more in the middle when I was getting 20-30 psi that things would get hot. Really only happens in the summer here in Las Vegas when things are 100+, but to be honest I was going on a couple of long trips wanted the added mileage, and wanted a little more power. Should have left it alone...
