Both are LBZ. the 6128 is an 06 OS and the 2483 is and 07 classic OS. How do I make the 6128 os tune work on the 2483 os? Cut n Paste? Or can I just full flash the 2483 to the 6128 os?

on a side note, its been QUITE a while since I have been here and I though Pat had more race files on here than what i can see. I was certain he had a Wendy file. I can't see any threads older than 2008. Am I missing something?

if you really want to use the 6128 os then you have to full flash it. copy and paste will keep the same os and tables that we don't have access too and only copy over the tables you do have. I haven't compared those two oses but I can't see there being much difference between them on the tables we have. the difference will likely be in the hidden areas which will only copy over with a full flash

why are you wanting to change the os?

Don’t really want to change or use the 6128os if I don’t have to. I just want to use my tuning from the 6128os in the 07 classic 2483os. Is this we’re a script would work since it’s LBZ to LBZ but I can’t open both to compair?

You might be able to compare across OSes with EFILive V8. I know they added that recently, at least for the gas ECUs.

Yeah this is where running a script comes in.

I’m not 100% sure it will work on different OS’s but if you ran a script against the stock OS that matches your tuned OS, you will be able to see each tuned table. Then you can go to each table and copy/paste that table into the other OS.

made a script from my 6128 tune i wanted to use and applied it to the 2483 tune and it worked as it should. Thanks for all the input! Im guessing a full flash would have did the same thing but I'm thinking scripting was better. The 2483 is a 07 classic OS and the 6128 is a 06 OS

and here we go again.... my boys are saying I'm getting back in to sled pulling.....:ROFLMAO:
