LBZ mouth piece on LLY dead spot

I recently bought a LBZ mouth piece and installed it on my LLY. I used my stock intake tube and bought a rubber adapter to connect the mouth piece to stock intake tube. Then I am using a aftermarket box and filter. After the install I have a dead spot that is very noticeable. Can I install a LBZ complete cold air intake kit to my LLY using the intake tube and filter? Or anybody have any ideas to take the dead spot out

It can be fixed with an EFI Live flash.

Either that or run it to the dealer. If they aren't idiots they'll understand how to program it.

Put the LLY box back on, the stock box is as good, or better than, the aftermarket stuff. Just not as shiny.....

Danville performance tuned the efi before the intake. Do you have it reflashed for a cold air or for the mouth piece?

yes your MAF tables need to be adjusted... have Mark send you an updated file

If I wanted a cleaner look than can I buy the lbz kit and it bolt right up to the lbz mouth piece? Or is the mouth piece to my stock LLY tube just as good? What do I need to tell him maf for lbz intake?

Yeah tell him MAF for LBZ intake, and yes with that mouthpiece you can bolt a LBZ intake kit right up to it. They are a little higher flowing than the LLY intake kits.
