Does idle change a bit when it's installed? I've changed my FPR before, but I just replaced it with the LB7 one. My truck is starting to idle "lopey" again and I kind of figured I would get the LBZ one to smooth it out but it could also be because it's getting cold down here in NC
Raising the idle rpm a little can help to smooth it out. IIRC, the early duramaxes had a lower idle and LP pressure affects them more. If it was my little list, an arson kit would be a better addition IMO.

You will have to adjust b1010 to get the idle right. When I first started mine up it was idling at 18k on the rail. You have to adjust the first three blocks to get the idle where you want then blend the rest. That's what I did and it worked great for me. You could try changing the idle rpm also. I think the early trucks idled at 600 rpms and the later ones were 680 rpms.
