For the truck to achieve 180 mpa the tune has to be written for that. The pressure tables will have to account for the desired pressure at a given mm3.

Correct, and I think he asked the follow up question with the 26k rail pressure, could be wrong tho.

I bet you can hit 26k with the lb7 regulator, I havent tried it yet tho. And some people have had the rail pressure safety valve, like a rail pressure blow off valve, open at 24500, some 25000+, we dont have to "shim" our valves so they hold rail pressure
my blow of valve is plugged and i couldnt hit 26k for the life of me. I have a modded lbz in it now and have no trouble at all.

I run tunes that make 190mpa with a stock lb7 regulator.

I also think that a lbz unit would probably be easier to maintain that with 3000+us tunes.

I held 190 mpa with a 3250pw tune with the lbz regulator but now with the nozzles can't even hold a 2200 pw above 20ksi so need a bigger pump now :D

Thats like a 3150pw with stock nozzles(if you do the math with 45% over's), sounds like you need a bigger pump or yours is worn out from all that 190mpa you demanding

I need to fix my previous post, I was looking back through my logs and on my tune I was asking for 175mpa and was peaking at 183mpa on a let off or shift spike so it may read higher just thought that it was all it would read cause I only have my dashboard set to 180mpa  :D I know the sensor scaling goes to 200mpa will it actualy read that high? Not sure I want to push my LB7's fuel system much higher than I already am also not sure how much pressure would hurt the injectors so I will stop where I'm at. :D

The harder you push the injectors the sooner they will wear out. So keeping them 26k and under and preferably 23k and under will help them live a longer life.

With a stock LBZ regulator in my LLY pump on a 3300pw tune my truck would touch 25k then drop back down to around 22k
