Can it be done? and what would it cost and would I be able to have everything else work? since the protocol is different I'm guessing it wouldn't but figured I would check. just tired of the slow ass LLY ecm. and would be nice to not have a FICM.
Work on your tuning...theres really no reason an LBZ ECM would be "snappier".
Has absolutely nothing to do with the LLY ECM/FICM.......
torque limited injection quantity, MAF limited inj qty, TBIQ, etc. Experiment with those and you'll be able to make it as snappy as you want.
Also check out the "idle pedal adjustment quantity" table.
If I read your signature right your running lmm injectors in an lly truck using lbz heads? I didn't know an lly ficm woukd Fire the injectors correctly? Hmmm
Good thing it only does half as much. Don't need none of that stinken VVT tables getting in the way of FUEL.regardless, its nothing to do with the [ECM] hardware itself.
The LB7 ECM's processor is like half as fast.
What do you guys mean when you say "snappy"?
No shit?? lmao. you know responsive. like when you crack the throttle shit happens.,
