Im just taking a stab in the dark here, but couldnt you just put a moderate tune on from EFI live, that is customized to run with a plug and play switch on the go programmer? Like load your EFI live tune, then plug in some small cheap tuner, that adds the rest of the timing that you want to run, and leave it plugged in for switchability? Or is what I just said way off base? Just curious..

Cause when I first got my LBZ< i was told that I couldnt stack programmers on it because the ECM wouldnt accept them. But I always hear about people putting their PPE standards on like a 90HP tune, and then stacking an edge or Bullydog on there to have the adjustability on the fly. Seems like you could "read" the bullydog or Edge tune to figure out how to create a base tune from EFI live to run under them..?

Bump with a question to EFI. How are we doing with this issue now?

I got side tracked last days off with about 100 different things so I never got to working with Pat on this problem, but next set off I will try again. Hopefully Pat has time as well.

LB7 and LLY switching via V2 made it into our latest public release which can be downloaded here http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=124

LBZ and LMM switching is still in development. No time frame for release at this point - we head off to SEMA at the end of this week, so there goes at least 2 weeks of development time :( I'm confident in saying that I doubt you'll see anything released this side of christmas.

Cheers

It is for LS1 cECMs which the LB7 has.

It allows instant tuning. Lets say I add a degree of timing, the secnd I push enter the motor has a degree of timing, no flasing, just instant on the fly tuning. The price has really gone up though. I think its close to a grand. But Ill be getting one if enough sponsor money rolls in.
