Well I am currently in the process of building a motor for my LBZ. I have a long block currently in the making, while the motor currently in my truck is going through its paces. Anyhow, so far I am planning on carrilo rods, fingers oval bowl pistons, i have social 3388 cam, going with my stock crank (going to key it), ARP main and head studs, ATI super damper, 60% injectors, and push rods.
My questions are I cannot decide on what air setup would be best for my application. I would mostly daily drive this truck, and tow more so in the winter months. I do enjoy sled pulling maybe 2-3 times a year and attend 1/4 mile drags about 2-3 a year as well. I want a truck that is capable over over 750HP. Can be driven mostly day-to-day, and still be in the 11 second range for 1/4 mile, all while be a fairly reliable truck.
I am torn between running a HSP twin turbo kit s480 over danville 3794, or running a single s366 billet wheel or something possibly bigger as well. :/ I love the that twins when towing are very nice, but I also like the fact of a bigger single to go nuts with lol. I am looking for input from people who have either set up, or who have experience with both!
Thanks in advance!
