Truck blew a hole in #7 piston, scored the block too deep so I'm starting with a fresh Lmm block. I just picked it back up from the machine shop today. The procedures the performed were
Oven baked and steam cleaned
Replaced cam bearings
Bored 20 over and torque honed
Pan rails, front/rear covers decked to match each other.
Crank bore was torque honed
New freeze and oil galley plugs
Rotating assembly balanced
Polished crank.
Blocks head surface decked
I'll post pictures as I go along, build is consisting of:
Socal girdle and main studs
ATI dampner
Socal billet flexplate
Carrillo rods
Diamond billet Pistons 17:1
SoCal 3388AF
Merchant heavy duty push rods
SoCal beehive valve springs and cups
Arp head studs
