LB7 vs LBZ Power?

Don't the LB7's have a higher compression ratio than the LBZ's too?

the lb7 C/R is higher but the lbz has alot of other stuff to offset that and more

just sold my lly for a low mileage lb7. Such a better running truck with no emissions.

The LBZ has never had a programmer on it, the only thing it has is a K&N filter. I'm fixing to order the plate to block the EGR. As far as the exhaust goes, I don't think I can get away with a turbo back and remove the Cat, it took me 30 minutes to convince the inspection place that the LB7 didn't come with one and they were gonna fail it.

Just do a Turbo back an spend some time putting the cat back on for The tests cause that cat is a pain foe.temps and power but I would definitely block the egr an reroute the pcv

LB7 is still the best Generation, IMO. Mine feels so stout its crazy. But man the LMM is so quiet and smooth.

Was it their first truck ever? If OC isn't on the engine decal then it isn't supposed to have one, that simple.

In my opinion I had 4 out of 5 duramax years stock for stock LB7 will eat LBZ off the line top end maybe not......:angel:
