I have an 01 LB7 with 100k miles on it, I am looking to do an inexpensive as possible (yeah I know it always starts like this) turbo upgrade!! Is a "cheetah turbo" an option?? Just seems to be more afordable upgrade, no install kit. Or should I be looking into something different? I have anothe LB7 with about 50k on it that I plan to do studs and gaskets on if I need to. Any suggestions or input would be appriecated.

A Cheetah is not an option right now and they are 3250$ anyway... you can get a PPE GT4094 with install kit for that same price...

last i heard cheatahs were 3200$ and dont think the lb7 project went through , last i heard brayden can make them but said the cost was higher than he hoped i would check with him to be sure though . i have seen several s300's for sale here and on dp for less than 2000$. s300's would be a htt promax / bd supermax/ silver bullitt, they have enough air to support 600 hp good spoolup , can still tow heavey , the are a great turbo i have been very happy with mine .

Mark Broviac at Danville Performance is another very good source of cheap turbo upgrades, custom bolt on modded stuff, ect.

Danville is a company i'd recommend way before Brayden... but if I was you I would go with an HTT or GT40 seris turbo they are comparable in size and perforance.

You should be alright. I have a 1057 in mine. But then my buddy has a 1058 and that thing is crazy when it couples. Not sure which one is better.

You do not need to change converters at all I run the 1057 with my 4094 staging is not a problem at all

yes direct bolt on and i think they have a dyno vid on youtube of it making 577 HP

you can go to the fleece website and get braydens email and ask him for price... he gave me a price but i'm not sure if he wants it to be known so just send him an email

Direct bolt on in my opinon is worth alot to me just because you dont need an install kit and your air intake will work without moddification just my .02

Commented on a typo that has since been corrected. 577hp from a single fueler 4094 isn't too bad at all. If I was going to spend that kind of money I would rather get more stuff (pedestal, downpipe, intake, ect) than worry about it being a direct bolt in. You are gonna have all that stuff off to do a bolt on swap anyway, so it's no more work to replace it than it is to re-install it.
