So I am pretty sure this LB7 has a bad turbo. Here are the symptoms. It is leaking a good amount of oil out of the exhaust. Its running rough and it white/grey smokes like a train when you drive it or have your foot on the pedal whatsoever. I am I safe to say the seals in the turbo are shot? Or the waste gate flapper is gone?

Sounds like my truck when I cracked a piston. First thing is to check how much blow by your getting then do a compression test. If it idles really rough and shakes the truck, that is not a bad turbo.

I just checked the oil and it is barely on the stick. I just checked it the day before I took it for a test run and it was full. Its not leaking either. It like all the oil is going straight out of the exhaust, and very quickly. Also there is fresh oil sprayed around the turbo on the top of the motor.

Have you pulled the oil cap and checked blowby?

Yes a stuck injector will make it run rough and smoke at idle.

x2 Multiple people have suggested that in his other thread. Doesn't cost a thing to check. Instead of what if's, and how about that's, I suggest following the already posted trouble-shooting help. :thumb:

I did that already. It is puffing a slight mist out of the cap but its not the worst I've seen.

When mine when, it put a big enough hole in the piston that it wouldn't make a compression, so no blow by. Check injector balances, then compression test, or just pull all of the glow plugs out and use shop air to try to turn the engine over.
