Turned out nice. My LLY stayed almost rust free in 7 years, I have to stay on this LMM twice as hard, they've been putting down twice the salt and pa sure loves that calcium.
Its no joke. Im hoping to keep this nice. Was either. Trans or this so i figure id buy a rust free blown trans truck over a rusted built trans truck. Now to save for the trans.
My bed was good minus the wells were starting to bumble and the wheel whells were a little ruff. My buddy was doing the work at a great price. His only thing was he didnt want patch panals cause there a pain to get perfect and end up rusting quicker.
Patch panal was like 100 and labor would
Have been 150-250 depending. Whole bed side was 550 and he put it
On for 120 and it should last longer
I see was curious as mine had patch panels put in before I owned it and have some minor bubbleing on the driver's side, will have to address it one of these days
Mine only had bubble about an 1in on the well but was alot more on the back. Best thing is to cut it out now before it really starts moving and use the flares to cover it.
Really wanted to do some raceline wheels but just got a deal on stock lml wheels that need some love and ordered some nitto 420s. I love the lml 5 star wheels so it should be a nice clean look and light.
Picked up a tonneau cover off craigslist. Just need some darker lights and to change out the grill to a meshed one I got that matches the SS front bumper grill
