Hello. I have an issue with my lb7. What i have is an 01 gmc sierra 2500. Heres the history. Few months ago i pulled the engine and installed front and rear seal, head gaskets, injectors and sealed everything up and set valves. Did it by the number. Eveything has been fine until today. 20 psi at idle and 30 at hwy speed warm. Normally 30 or more idle and 50 or more hwy.

I have about 5k on rotella 15w40. In the 5k miles ive added NONE and today it was less than a quart low. 333000 miles on bottom end and now 10k on injectors. I have no diesel in my oil that i can tell. No leaks anywhere of any kind on motor.

The gauge on the dash has always acted funny. Kinda jumpy. But worked.

Any ideas? A possible sender failure? Gauge failure?

The engine makes no noises. The truck cranks fine, runs fine, has no fuel smell or smoke associated with injector failure.

Mines been acting dumb. Will be at 80 at idle but here and there drops down to 35 and works right for a while.

Did you ever figure out your problem having the same problem runs good no fuel smell anywhere but once it gets hot I get the digging and the message that says low oil pressure along with my gauge that says 0 hooked a gauge to it and it says it reads about 11 hot which is a little low. (4 points) then spec
