In a "stock engine" configuration, the LBZ is already the "top dog" in the pack.

In a heavily modified version, go with any of the three, but the LBZ engine is stronger from the factory as is the transmission.

this is what im thinking to, already have the better pistons too and better cp3
better trans, just better and we are only getting started, once EFI comes out it wont take long for team salad to figure it out imo

I just read where LBZ software is getting ready to be released..Are we gonna be able to get rid of all the Emissions crap on them??Also does Suncoast have a kit for it yet??Haven't been paying much att. to the LBZ's..Do you all think we can Twin Cp3 them along with a Bigger Turbo?? My Bud is chomping at the bit to build a Truck..

That sounds like it is a gas option, not Duramax. But if it is indeed a Duramax with Allison, then that is the best deal you will probably find anywhere.

Yeah I personally like the Lb7 because every thing is right there for it but My dad bought a new 06 lbz a couple of weeks ago and i was very impressed, tons of power, and a great tranny too, once more performance parts come out for it, it will definetly be the one to own.
