An auto cal can handle that. It's only limitation is, you can't write your on tunes

Your tuner can do this for you. He can mod the ecm to accept the lbz regulator. You're thinking to hard about the process.

Head gaskets...check
45% SAC...check
Having Tony Tune your ecm...check

Everything that you would need to do with a V2 to your ecm Tony can do with his V2 to your ecm.

You CAN run a stock tune with 45% injectors. What we are saying is that IF YOU TOW the 45s will be hot and you will really have to watch egt.

When you have enough money...get your truck tuned. If you the money to get an ecm tuned by mail Tony can do that. Do that while your doing you HG and injectors.

If you can get an autocal, financially, do that instead of the tuned ecm. The reason why you want an autocal is because if you want Tony to make adjustments tot the tuning you can send him files of your truck running and he can tell where the changes need to take place.

I have never seen over 17k rail pressure. Pretty sure I need to do the cp3 that's with a fass 150gph lift pump. Is there a sure way to test cp3?

Didn't read the whole thread but if not mentioned yet...

When my returns on my LLY injectors were shot, I never saw over 17-18k rail pressure.

I had a lift pump set at 15 psi, had a PPE race plug and ran all new fuel lines.

I had the motor built and the injectors came back very tired, put a new set of 30 overs in and it head 23.5-24k all day on any tune. Same old cp3 with 200k miles.

10-4, just figured I'd mention it, I was gonna replace mine and I was told it probly wasn't it, so I quit pissing with my fuel problem til I put a hole in a piston and had 3 more ready to go, that's when I sent out the injectors and found out they were junk. I could unplug my fpr and command max rail pressure with a tech 2 and still not get over 18k.

You could just buy a good used lbz pump for like 300 bucks too

No idea, I believe there is a DIY thread here to check fuel return rate. Basically unhook the return line and put a long hose in place of it and measure fuel return for so many seconds, lift pump will have to be off and bypassed if not a flow through style to get a correct measurement.

but how would i know that the used cp3 is good and not garbage when a new one is like $600 ill just pull it when i tear into the truck if dealership charge to much to test it ill just buy a new one with my fuel issues would rather just change everything while i can. im just trying to eliminate the problems i have ben having all at once that way i don't have to tear into it 6 months down the road hopfully.

If I had the top tore down that's what I would do just because I get irritated just changing my oil anymore let alone pulling a cp3.

You can find cp3's for 250-350, But if your fixing it on a tight budget the test is an option.
