LB7: LB7 injector?

Hi guys
2 questions I have on injectors.
I have no smoke at this point with 42k original miles on my 04 lb7. First question is: if some of my balance rates were approaching 4.0 would this have a performance issue as far as loss of power? 2nd question: what's the best replacement injectors out there now? New or rebuilt? I know it's only a matter of time! I'd appreciate any advice!!

The closer to 4 you get it'll probably start hazing on you. And the second question consensus seems to be the SAC style injectors from lincoln diesel. But the smallest size you can get are 45 overs so you'd need efi. As far as stock size you can not beat lincoln diesel as well

You didnt give main fuel rate, so its possible the injectors are fine. With that few miles on an 04 I would run the GM top end cleaner thru the engine first. Then see what the balance rates change to. No sense spending money where you dont have to.

i had zero performance issues, no loss in MPG, no fuel in the oil. the only symptom i had when my injectors were bad was light smoke at idle, I got my injectors, went with bosch remans from Lincoln Diesel, great people to deal with.
