While you alaska guys are on, could I ask another question?
In these temps of -40- -60 how warm does your truck run and does the heat get hot? Just don't wanna waste my time.
Not going to get very warm if your putting around town... They warm up better running down the road and cool down around town, But it should defrost your windows no problem. My truck with the bumper & grill cover runs about 165 ish around town at -40* 180 ish cruising down the road & never hits 205* unless its above 0* & pulling. If you pull your grill out you will see why the bumper cover is so important. There is a chunk of rubber that diverts air into the radiator from the bumper holes
Do both t-stats not worth the hassle of doing one and not the other.
Invest in seat heaters if you don't have them already
