Hey guys. I currently own a 2004 sierra 2500hd with an lb7 duramax. Yesterday I noticed that one of my fuel lines was leaking while I was in the middle of taking the bed off to do cab corners. I didn't look into the leak too much last night since I was more concerned with getting the bed off while my buddies where there to help lift it. From what I could see it looked like I may have been the line that runs from the tank to the cooler. I called my local dealer to see what the price of the replacement lines would cost. they told me that gm updated the fuel cooler system on these trucks and I would need to buy all new lines from the tank forward for $502. They also said the update system elminates the fuel cooler. This just seems a little strange to me? Has anyone else run into this problem. does the updated system truly elminate the fuel cooler?
