LB7 Frame Off Restoration

My friend Jim (SlimJimm17 on here) is in the middle of a frame-off restoration on his truck. I figured I would post up a few pictures from the process. About a year ago, the body of the truck received all new paint, so after this is will be absolutely mint:woott::woott:.

Yes, the clip and hood were previously changed to the LBZ style, at the same time it got painted.

I wondered the same thing:roflmao:. It is a little extreme, but yes, it pretty much won't be driven in rain or salt, and I am sure he will do some shows with it. It will see dragstrip action and street use as well.

Haha, it has dual fuelers and an S469, runs 11.9. But ya, some internals would have been nice while everything was apart, can you say ticking time bomb?

10 years down the road id like to do this to mine. at that point is when ill truly decided if the lift is coming off or not

It's an 03. I like the 01-02 fronts as well as the 06-07. 03-05 I can do without, personally.

Its not an "LBZ front clip". Its a "2005-2007 HD" front clip.

05 LLY's had that grille/hood from the factory, so its not just an LBZ thing.
