Hey guys, looking to buy an exhaust today for my newly purchased LB7 and I'm looking for input as far as what size and brand everyone prefers and why. Why would you go 4" over 5" and vice versa

There is no performance benefit of a 5" over a 4" but IMO why go 4" when you can go 5". If you just want performance without the noise stick with a 4".

As for brands I prefer magnaflow over any other they have been the best fitting systems I've installed. Magnaflow mufflers on the other hand are no bueno. But I don't run a muffler.

I have an LB7 with a MBRP 4" Straight pipe. It sounds really good. Drives very nice with little to no drone, but is loud and angry when I want it to be. Install was also pretty easy and it went together like a charm.

I also put on the 3" down pipe from MBRP and that made it sound even more throaty and brought down EGTs

I think that is what I'm going to go with. Plus they are priced really well
