Looking for a clear upper valve cover so I can visually see return lines without removing. Does anyone know a company that either makes one or could possibility 3d print one?
The biggest thing is just the injector holes but I don't really need any accessory holes.

I would like to permanently use them. This is on a dedicated puller, so won't be running much and will help with maintenance and issues with fuel in the oil.

there is not much clear plastic that is capable of oil, fuel, etc and withstand the heat. polycarbonate or Lexan is about all you got but it melts around 240F which is too close to the engine temperature.

if you want to give them a try your best bet is to find someone who can do vacuum forming and see if the can make a set.

I do think it would be useless as the oil mist will coat the inside and make it impossible to see anything with any detail

I ordered valve covers for my BBC from this company (still waiting for them to arrive), but it looks like they have the technology and material to resist the heat and chemicals. They don't list anything for diesels, but you may want to hit them up and see if you could be a guinea pig (might be beneficial cost wise).

Thanks I'll look into them. This is more of a novelty but would be nice in the lb7 world to be able to see what's going on in there.
